History

The Greave Golf Society came about when four locals, and keen golfers Mark McCabe, Steve Doughty, Jimmy Towers and Steve Parrington banded round the idea and the concept back in the winter of 2011. “The Greasby 4” then circulated the idea to other keen local golfers and Greave Dunning regulars.

The Greave Golf Society first day out was May 2012 at The Devere complex at Carden Park, on the Cheshire Course.

SInce then we have had many memorable days out including Eaton, Bromborough, Rhuddlan, Dunham Forrest, Eastham Lodge, Mottram Hall, and my favourite Heswall just to name a few.

The society has the belief that all the monies we receive through green fees, wagers etc should be given out on the day of each event, so as not to a crew a large balance in our account.
